Our Team
Leah Snethun (Bathgate)
Where's home: Calgary & Buck Lake, Alberta (originally Regina, SK)
Bio: Most commonly referred to as the "Prez", I started and have been running the Alberta Golf Tour since the 2013 golf season. I'm super passionate about golf, growing the game, and getting people even more passionate about the game through fun competition and laidback atmosphere. Those guys up there in the picture support and allow me to chase this passion of mine, and I'm lucky that they're just as into it (even if they are too young to know it). Meet Baby CJ, "The Kidd", and of course, Cody.
Home Course: I don’t have one, but we can give honourary mention to The Kidd’s home course - Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club
Favourite Course: How am I supposed to pick just one??? Okay, Priddis. As an 18, Hawk, but the back 9 of Raven is my fave.
Alberta's Hidden Gem: Obviously Pine Hills, but also Sundre, Barrhead, Athabasca, and less "hidden" ones Coal Creek and Innisfail.
Course you haven't played but are very interested to: SO MANY. Pretty much every private just because I just want to see what they're like (and unintentionally compare them to Priddis).
What does #GolfLifeAB mean to you? Providing golfers around the province with information to grow their love for golf in Alberta!

Where’s Home: St. Albert, Alberta
Bio: I grew up playing golf in the Edmonton area at the Highlands Golf Club (2yrs) and Windermere Golf and Country Club (10yrs). After marrying my wife Deb and bringing up kids, I took up golf more seriously again and joined the National Amateur Tour (4yrs). I moved over to the Alberta Golf Tour in 2014 and love it. I am a national tour champion and 3 time AGT champion. My first hole-in-one came at AGT championships in 2015. I checked off my bucket list trip to Scotland, including the Old Course (see above), in 2019 with the “Three Amigos” from the AGT. Alias is Buddybri.
Home Course: Everywhere the Alberta Golf Tour plays and more.
Favourite Course: Jasper Park Lodge.
Alberta’s Hidden Gem: There are many; Whitecourt, Barrhead, Athabasca, Coal Creek, Pine Hills, Hinton, to name a few.
Course you haven’t played but are very interested to: I played the old Crowsnest Pass (9 hole) course many years ago, but looking foward to getting out on the new and improved course.
What does #GolfLifeAB mean to you: Information on just about everything golf in Alberta and more.
