About the Alberta Golf Tour

The Alberta Golf Tour was created in December 2012 when a group of golfers saw a need for a local friendly competitive golf tournament series. It started as an idea, a logo, and then the real work started. With only 3 tournaments in the opening season, the Alberta Golf Tour has quickly expanded to 15+ tournaments including multiple Major events, a 4-Day stroke play Tour Championship, and a 2-Day Presidents Cup. We tour around the entire province, showcasing hidden gems you never knew about, and all the local favourites you just can't get enough of! We create a friendly and fun competitive atmosphere, where you can meet new golf partners and create lasting friendships.

The Alberta Golf Tour is here for you, the players, and as such, are looking to improve the way the Tour is operated from year to year. We continually look for the things we do well, address the things we need to improve upon, and always operate with unmatched passion and integrity with the help of the appointed Player Advisory Committee.
