#GolfLifeAB launches new website, podcast

While there are going to be continuous improvements to make along the way, it was time to give the concept some forward motion.The creator of #GolfLifeAB is Leah Bathgate-Snethun. She has made her own name for herself on the Alberta golf scene over the past 6 years as the President and Founder of the Alberta Golf Tour (AGT)."It was time to expand. Anyone who knows me, knows that golf, growing and marketing the sport in this province, and business strategy and development are my passions.After working full-time and using my job's vacation time for 6 years to fund the growth and development of the Alberta Golf Tour, I knew there was still more that needed to be done - and not just from a laidback competitive point of view anymore."The AGT has seen steady and encouraging growth every year since inception, all through the economic downturn.Now, Bathgate-Snethun wants to reach more golfers and courses alike."There are already so many people in this province who promote the game so well. I want to provide one place for them to showcase their talents - whether it be golf instruction, golf fitness, golf blogging and reviews, golf travel, golf brands - you name it, I want to showcase it all in one spot. It's also tough for many courses to get the word out there beyond their own email list, if they even have one. We want to help the golfers, and the courses."Bathgate-Snethun has a co-host with her on the new podcast - Darren Krause.
