Now that we got that over with. We are two weeks away from the Masters and arguably the beginning of golf season. There has been a buzz building all season and I think it's going to peak for a weekend at Augusta. Tiger has been lurking with some flashes here and there, big names have already claimed some big trophies, we've had rules controversies, off course drama, and the biggest names in the world currently teeing it up at The Dell Matchplay honing in their game in preparation for the year's first major. We're trending towards some serious fireworks. Yes, you did read that correctly - the year's FIRST Major.

The only thing that hasn’t added to the buzz of this season are my predictions for the winners of the 4 Championships. And they're going to make waves. Without further adieu let’s get down to the reason you’re reading this:

The Masters: Justin Thomas

In my opinion JT is the best player in the world right now. Rory the hottest (man crush aside), DJ the most consistent. I think JT has an X-factor to him that will be the difference at the first major. I just hope to God that we don’t see this coming down the stretch.

A note on Tiger, this is the one I feel he will be the closest to winning. I think the track record speaks for itself.

PGA Championship: Dustin Johnson

I had to make sure I had the correct order with the PGA in it's new spot. Personally, I like where it sits now and supposedly should bring some interesting weather conditions to New York this time of year.

DJ has to win one this year. He’s too good. I won’t like it but I think this is the man that can tame Bethpage Black. Also, he's one of the few that doesn’t looked dwarfed by the Wannamker. That's the real reason he's going to win. Obviously.

US Open Championship: Xander Schauffele

This guy is good. Pebble Beach will be the scene for Xander’s breakthrough Major. He’s been trending in the right direction ever since he won the TOUR Championship a couple years ago. A final pairing at the Open last year was a huge learning curve for him that he'll be draw from this time round and he’s already claimed victory once this year in Hawaii taking down fan of the program Gary Woodland. If you can take down Gary you can take down Pebble during a US Open.

2019 Open Championship: Rickie Fowler

It’s time. We are going to see Rickie conquer his major championship demons with a win in Ireland. Allison is going to give him a big smooch as he walks off the final green and is crowned the 2019 Championship Golfer of the Year. Book it. So the question is: Who are your picks to win the majors?
