About Us

What is #GolfLifeAB? Well, we love golf. And we love golf in this beautiful province of Alberta that we call home. We want to somehow package all that we love and the people that make our golf community so special into one platform for everyone to benefit from.

#GolfLifeAB is taking a golf trip with your buddies to visit our beautiful mountain courses. It’s grinding it out as a weekend warrior at your favourite local courses. Or, maybe it’s finding a hidden gem that you get to play for the first time.

From the rolling prairies to the peaks of the Rocky Mountains, let’s share what golf in Alberta means to you and spread the good news about what makes this place that we live a staple in the Canadian golf landscape.

Where's home: Buck Lake, Alberta (originally Regina, SK) Bio: Most commonly referred to as the "Prez", I started and have been running the Alberta Golf Tour since the 2013 golf season. I'm super passionate about golf, growing the game, and getting people even more passionate about the game through fun competition and laidback atmosphere. Those guys up there in the picture support and allow me to chase this passion of mine, and I'm lucky that they're just as into it (even if they are too young to know it yet haha!). Meet Baby CJ, "The Kidd" @kiddsgotgame, and of course, Cody. Home Course: Pine Hills (Rocky Mountain House, Alberta) Favourite Course: How am I supposed to pick just one??? Alberta's Hidden Gem: Obviously Pine Hills, but also Sundre, Barrhead, Athabasca, and less "hidden" ones Coal Creek and Innisfail. I'm sorry. This is why I didn't pick a favourite course. Course you haven't played but are very interested to: SO MANY. Pretty much every private just because I just want to see what they're like (and unintentionally compare them to Priddis). What does #GolfLifeAB mean to you? Providing golfers around the province with information to grow their love for golf in Alberta!

Where's home: Sherwood Park, Alberta Bio: I think this is where I'm supposed to write things like I am a huge Oilers fan, dogs > cats, and something clever to really show off my amazing personality. How am I doing so far? I'm an absolute golf nut and am excited to share my adventures with you all playing the game I love across Alberta's many beautiful and unique landscapes. And as long as there are a few beers shared and you can get over that I play left-handed, let's go on this great, golf adventure together. Home Course: The Quarry Golf Club (Edmonton, Alberta) Favourite Course: Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Golf Club. Alberta's Hidden Gem: I always relate this to courses that don't get enough recognition for how good they are. Whitetail Crossing in Mundare is that course for me. Course you haven't played but are very interested to: It's hard to not put a private course here. But I've heard crazy things about Dinosaur Trail Golf and Country Club in Drumheller. What does #GolfLifeAB mean to you? It's about building a platform with creative content that brings people together that LOVE golf in this province. And what's not to love?
